
This year we are running four week-long day camp sessions welcoming youth ages 10–15. Our camps are free and offer hands-on experiences in tool skills, boatbuilding, sailing, rowing, and more in a safe, supportive environment with qualified staff.

Boat Builder's Camp
June 22 - 26 from
9am - 4pm
Students will spend a week in our 8,600 sq. ft. Boatshop, working together to construct 4-5 Bevin’s Skiff boats using traditional woodworking and boatbuilding techniques.

Maritime Skills Camp
July 20 - 24 from
9am - 4pm
Participants learn the fundamentals of sailing and rowing while gaining hands-on maritime skills like docking, launching, knot-tying, and reading weather conditions.

AHB Summer Camp
July 6 - 10 from
8:30am - 4:45pm
Students will build a boat, participate in a myriad of traditional camp activities including water safety, swimming and other outdoor activities.

RiverVentures Camp
August 3 - 7 from
9am - 4pm
On the Menomonee River, students rotate between boatbuilding, personal woodworking projects, and time on the water for a hands-on blend of creativity, teamwork, and outdoor adventure.
