Hands-On Shop Tour

Hands-On Shop Tour
We welcome small groups of from 5-20 folks of all ages from 8-80 years old to learn about what we do, see what projects are currently underway, and complete a hands-on project participants can take home with them. Learn how to safely and efficiently use hand tools! Our boat shop is specially designed for teaching young or adults in Milwaukee basic and advanced woodworking skills!
For any organizations, school, or business group this can be a great experience and good team-building. Our favorite with any age group is building the toy sailboat, however we occasionally mix it up upon request from a variety of small projects, such as a tool box, a veggie tote, or a bench.
In a two-hour session, participants learn about safety and use of over 15 tools to build a small project. We will also cover basic measurements and fractions. For Cub Scouts this fulfills the 5-requirements for the "Baloo the Builder Adventure", and have the joy of bringing home a completed handmade project!
